Rain, snow and sleet are expected to lead to hazardous driving conditions in many areas as Met Éireann issues three separate weather warnings.
A Status Yellow snow and ice warning is in effect for Donegal until 8am, with falls of sleet and snow, with possible icy stretches on untreated surfaces and poor visibility.
A separate Status Yellow snow and ice warning is also in operation for Cavan, Monaghan, Leitrim, Longford and Westmeath until 10am.
Meanwhile, a Status Yellow rain warning is in effect for Dublin, Louth, Meath and Wicklow until 3am tomorrow morning.
Met Éireann said there will be persistent rain, with a mix of sleet and snow at times, which could cause localised flooding.
In Northern Ireland, a Status Yellow snow warning is in operation for Armagh, Fermanagh, Tyrone and Derry, where rain, sleet and possibly snow, is forecast this morning.
The warning is in effect until 10am.
