The Food Safety Authority of Ireland has issued a recall notice for some Magnum ice creams due to the possible presence of plastic and metal pieces.
The affected products are all Magnum almond ice creams that were sold in multipacks of three in supermarkets.
They originated in the UK and are marked best before 25 December.
The FSAI is requesting retailers remove the products from sale and display recall notices at points of sale.
Anyone who purchased the products are being advised by the authority not to consume them.
