Young man dies following shooting incident in Dublin

A young man has died following a shooting incident in Dublin in the early hours of this morning.

The incident happened at around 12.15am on the Knocknarea Road in the Dublin 12 area.

The man’s body remains at the scene, which has been preserved for a garda examination.

A post-mortem examination is due to be carried out.

Three men have been arrested as part of the investigation and are being held in garda stations in Dublin.
