Teen due to court charged over Blanchardstown deaths

A teenage boy is due to appear in court later this morning charged in connection with the investigation into the deaths of two men in Blanchardstown following a gun attack last month.

He is due to appear before the Children’s Court at around 10.30am.

Tristan Sherry, 26, died after he was assaulted and stabbed during a gun attack at Browne’s Steakhouse in Blanchardstown on 24 December 2023.

A second man, Jason Hennessy Sr, who was shot and seriously injured during the attack died in hospital 11 days later.

Five other people have been charged in connection with the incident.
