Irish fans and lyric fm listeners were quick to reply to her late-night Instagram post, with many people posting pictures of cups of tea and urging SJP to listen to Marty Whelan’s morning show on lyric and asking if she listens to Joe Duffy.

Parker, who has been married to Ferris Bueller’s Day Off star Broderick since 1997, has previously taken to social media to rave about Kerrygold and also praised the brand on a recent BBC4 podcast, saying that the butter turned food into “heaven”, adding, “We are crazy about potatoes and butter.”

She and Broderick celebrated New Year’s Eve last in Cill Charthaigh, Co Donegal before they both began a run in Neil Simon’s Plaza Suite in the West End, London.

The pair are regular visitors to Ireland and are reported to spend their summer holidays in the northwest with their children, son James (21) and surrogate twins Tabitha and Marion (14).
