North West 200 rider flung 25ft in air after crash

An Isle of Man motorcyclist is recovering after escaping serious injury while competing at the North West 200 in Co Antrim.

Paul Cassidy was flung around 25 feet into the air after a collision, landing in someone’s garden on top of a car.

In a post on Facebook, Mr Cassidy thanked “everyone for all support ..all the medical staff did a cracking job.”
