Roma have parted ways with manager José Mourinho with the club currently ninth in the Serie A.
The club have won just one of their last six league games and were recently knocked out of the Coppa Italia by city rivals Lazio.
“AS Roma can confirm that José Mourinho and his coaching staff will leave the club with immediate effect,” the club said in a statement.
“Further updates on the new First Team coaching staff will follow imminently.”
During his time with the Italian giants, Mourinho, who took over in May 2021, guided the club to victory in the inaugural Europa Conference League in 2022 and a place in last season’s Europa League final, where they lost on penalties to Sevilla.
