A man has been arrested following the alleged false imprisonment of a woman.
Gardaí said the woman is safe and well and is receiving support.
The man is being held at a garda station in the northwestern garda region.
Earlier, gardaí had issued an alert asking the public if they had seen a yellow van that was last seen in Dublin city to contact them.
The van was located in Co Mayo following information provided by a member of the public.
Gardaí said the investigation is ongoing.
