A man aged in his 40’s who was arrested following a robbery in Swords yesterday morning, has since been charged.
Gardaí were alerted to the incident shortly after 10am Saturday morning when a male entered a bookmaker’s premises on North Street in Swords armed with a knife and threatened staff.
The male then left the premises with an amount of cash and mobile phones belonging to staff members.
He is currently in Garda custody and will appear before a sitting of Swords District Court on Monday.
The charges include two other recent robberies from premises in the Swords area in December last year.
