A Leaving Certificate student from Co Dublin is taking a break from her studies – to hurtle down the luge track for Team Ireland at the Winter Youth Olympic Games in South Korea.
Sixteen-year-old Lily Cooke from Baldoyle is one of four Irish athletes at the Games and the first to represent Ireland in the luge at this level.
Lily only took up the sport a little over a year ago but she is already making speedy progress.
