How students help keep Maynooth litter-free

Students have been describing the part they play in keeping Ireland’s cleanest town, Maynooth, litter-free.

Maynooth came top of 40 towns and cities in the latest survey from business group Irish Business Against Litter.

An Taisce, which carried out the survey on behalf of IBAL, commended Maynooth on attaining “a level of cleanliness over the course of 2023 which we have not encountered in two decades of surveying”.

It said the University campus was “spotless”.
