An investigation is under way following the discovery of a man’s body in Dublin.
The body of a man, aged in his 60s, was found after gardaí called to a residence near Herberton Park, Dublin 8 this afternoon.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene.
Gardaí said the scene HAs preserved for examination by local scenes of crime officers and the State Pathologist and local coroner have been notified.
They added that the results of a post-mortem examination will determine the direction of the investigation.
