A man in his 50s has been arrested after drugs worth over €3.2 million were seized following the search of a car on the M50 in Dublin.
Gardaí intercepted the car on the motorway in the capital yesterday at around 5pm.
The vehicle was searched by officers as part of ongoing investigations under Operation Tara, and over 162kg of herbal cannabis was seized.
The drugs, believed to be worth over €3.2m, have been sent to Forensic Science Ireland for analysis.
The arrested man is being held at a garda station in the north Dublin area.
