A large crowd of protesters are taking part in an anti-immigration march in Dublin city centre this afternoon.
The march began at 2pm when people holding Irish tricolours and shouting slogans including “who’s street, our street” and “you’ll never beat the Irish” gathered at the Garden of Remembrance.
A large garda presence, including dozens of gardaí and a number of garda vans, is in attendance in the O’Connell Street area.
The march, which was organised on social media, also included banners saying “Irish republic”, “we have done our fair share” and “stop the W.H.O. pandemic treaty”.
