A woman was rescued after 15 hours stranded on top of her overturned car in a creek she had attempted to drive through following heavy rain in California.
The woman lost her belongings inside the car and was unable to reach out for help.
She stayed in the water for 15 hours until a camper in the area called emergency services.
Following the rescue, the woman was taken to hospital and treated for minor injuries.
Video footage shows the moment she was airlifted by helicopter.
