‘They were lovely’ – Dublin’s Hacienda hosts Swift

The owner of a Dublin pub has said he was ‘delighted’ to host Taylor Swift after the superstar finished up her three-night run of sell-out concerts at the Aviva Stadium.

Swift partied at the Hacienda Bar on Little Mary Street in the city centre, along with her boyfriend Travis Kelce, her musicians and dancers, support act Paramore, and legendary Fleetwood Mac singer, Stevie Nicks.

When RTÉ spoke to Shay Duignan the owner of the Hacienda Bar on Monday, he said: “They were lovely. We were delighted to have them.

“It was a late one,” he added.

The Hacienda Bar, managed by the proprietor Shay, is a favourite with celebrities and has been described as “Dublin’s best-kept secret” with an unpredictable door policy.

On their Facebook page, the bar said it was “such a warm and genuinely friendly night” and that they did not request “our usual photo” to “allow Taylor and her friends the chance to properly relax and enjoy their well-deserved time off.”

During her Sunday night show, Swift told fans it was a “thrill and an honour to inform them” that The Eras Tour was the first tour to ever sell out the Aviva Stadium venue three nights in a row.

The Dublin shows featured elaborate production, multiple costume changes and a setlist that spanned over three hours and included almost 50 songs.

Swift will head to Amsterdam’s Johan Cruyff Arena for her next three shows, running from Thursday to Saturday.

Swift will then play dates in Switzerland, Italy, Germany, Poland and Austria before returning to the UK in August for five nights at Wembley Stadium in London.
