The State funeral of former taoiseach John Bruton is taking place this morning at Saints Peter and Paul’s Church in Dunboyne, Co Meath.
President Michael D Higgins and Taoiseach Leo Varadkar will be among the many political dignitaries that will attend the church service.
Additionally, around 180 Defence Forces personnel will take part in the proceedings.
