Remembering the night of the Stardust tragedy



Forty eight people died when the Stardust nightclub in Artane, north Dublin went on fire in the early hours of Valentine’s Day, 1981.

Full inquests into their deaths have been sitting for almost a year, after decades of campaigning

The jury has now reached majority verdicts and they will be read out from 2pm.

It marks another step in what has been a very long wait for the families of the 48 young people who died from the fire,
