A man in his 30s has been charged in connection with the death of a 44-year-old man in an alleged assault in Co Kerry.
The man, who was arrested yesterday, is due to appear before a special sitting of Listowel District Court at 6.30pm.
Gerard Kennelly was discovered with a fatal stab wound following an incident on a roadside in Knockanure, near Listowel in the early hours of yesterday morning.
A second man aged in his 20s, who was also arrested yesterday as part of the investigation, is still being questioned by gardaí.
