Man held over murder of Kenneth Fetherston



A man has been arrested on suspicion of the murder of Kenneth Fetherston, whose remains were found in the Dublin mountains in January 2010.

He had been reported missing on 22 September 2009.

In 2020, the gardaí began a cold case review and investigation into the circumstances of his murder.

The 26-year-old father-of-one was last seen shortly after leaving his home in Tallaght that morning.

His car was found in Gorey, Co Wexford, four days later.

This morning, gardaí searched a private residence in the midlands.

A man in his 40s was arrested on suspicion of murder.

He is currently detained at a Garda Station in the Eastern Region under section 4 Criminal Justice Act 1984.
