A man has been charged in connection with the investigation into the death of an 84-year-old man in Co Kerry at the weekend.
The body of Paddy O’Mahony was found at his home near Castlemaine in Co Kerry on Sunday.
A man in his 60s is due to appear before Tralee District Court this afternoon.
Gardaí were called to the Castlemaine area on Sunday after the alarm was raised and the house was immediately sealed off.
Mr O’Mahony was pronounced dead at the scene.
