A man has been seriously injured after being shot in west Dublin tonight.
The man, who is in his 40s, was shot at a restaurant in the Blanchardstown area.
He’s been taken to Connolly hospital where his condition has been described as critical.
It is understood he was shot in the neck.
The scene has been preserved and gardaí at Blanchardstown are now investigating.
They are seeking witnesses or anyone who was in the area to contact them.
It is understood the victim is known to gardaí.
