A man has been arrested and charged in connection with the death of a woman in Sligo last May.
The man, who is in his 30s, is due to appear before court tomorrow morning.
Angela Canavan’s body was discovered at her home at St John’s Terrace in Sligo town on 1 May, 2023.
Investigating gardaí had previously arrested a man on suspicion of her murder.
He was later released without charge.
A spokesperson for the gardaí this evening said that the investigation into her death remains ongoing.
