A garda has been injured after being struck by a car in Blanchardstown in the early hours of this morning.
It happened shortly before 1am in the Castleknock area of Dublin 15 when gardaí were responding to an incident at an apartment complex.
The garda was taken to hospital for treatment and was later discharged, but he remains off duty.
Gardaí say no arrests have been made but they are following definite lines of enquiry.
