GAA announce ticket price hike for All-Ireland finals

The GAA have announced an increase in ticket prices for the latter stages of the 2024 championship, with All-Ireland stand ticket prices rising to €100, an increase of €10 on 2023.

Terrace tickets for the hurling and football finals will rise to €55, an increase of €5 from last year.

Meanwhile, ticket prices for All-Ireland semi-finals and quarter-finals will also rise by €5.

It is the first increase in final ticket prices since 2019, and the second in the past 14 years.

In their statement announcing the price hike, the GAA stressed that it was the first rise in final ticket prices in five years and highlighted earlier ‘3 for 2’ offerings for the All-Ireland series.

“This is the first increase to final ticket prices since 2019, and second in 14 years, and is part of a ticketing review which featured discounts during the Allianz Leagues, has seen new ‘3 for 2’ offers for All-Ireland series games and GAA membership discounts of €5 issued via Foireann for the Allianz League Finals and again for the upcoming football and hurling preliminary quarter-finals,” the association outlined.

“Revenue generated from our fixtures will increase our club grants for the redevelopment of pitches and club facilities from €3m in 2023 to €4.5m in 2024 and allow the Association to commit to allocating €5m for club facilities in 2025.”
