Further arrests in 2010 murder investigation



Two men have been arrested as part of the investigation into the 2010 murder of Lee Slattery in Limerick.

The body of the 24-year-old father-of-one from Ballynanty on the northside of the city was shot dead and found buried in a shallow grave in a wooded area on the grounds of the derelict Delmege House, which is located on the Knockalisheen road behind the Moyross estate.

He had not been seen for the previous four days after he visited a friend’s house in the city on the night of 27 May 2010

Both men arrested yesterday evening are being held in Garda stations in Limerick.

A woman in her 30s who was arrested on Sunday continues to remain in Garda custody.

Two men arrested on Monday were released without charge last night.
