Cillian Murphy has been nominated for the Oscar for Best Actor for his performance in Christopher Nolan’s Oppenheimer, with the Irish production Poor Things receiving multiple nominations.
Poor Things, produced by Ed Guiney and Andrew Lowe of Dublin-based Element Pictures, along with director Yorgos Lanthimos and star Emma Stone, has received multiple nominations including Best Picture, Best Director, Best Actress and Best Cinematography for Dubliner Robbie Ryan.
The Academy Awards take place on Sunday 10 March at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles.
