Cigarettes worth €12m seized by Revenue in Dublin



More than 14 million cigarettes with a retail value of €12 million have been seized by Revenue officials in Dublin.

The 14.6 million cigarettes of varying brands including Marlboro and Richmond were discovered yesterday.

In a statement, Revenue said they represented a potential loss of €9.6m to the Exchequer.

Investigations are ongoing.
