Boxes of exam papers arrive at schools

Boxes of exam papers are arriving at secondary schools around the country ahead of the Leaving Certificate and Junior Cycle exams.

After months of hard work, pupils will begin their exams tomorrow morning with English Paper 1.

The exam papers will all be kept under lock and key until they are handed out to pupils in the exam hall.

At Piper’s Hill College in Naas, Co Kildare, Principal Tom McDonald said the day before the exams begin is a “relatively quiet one at the school as we’re just getting everything ready” but it’s a very different story for students.

In our video he shares his last minute advice to students on the eve of their exams.
