Amber weather warning extended to most of UK
The UK Met Office has extended its Amber wind warning to cover most of the UK ahead of Storm Isha.
Two 12-hour amber wind warnings will be in place from 6pm until tomorrow morning.
One stretches across central, eastern and western England and all of Wales, only missing London and parts of the south-east.
The other covers all of Scotland, northern England and Northern Ireland.

The warning comes as Met Éireann issued a Status Red wind warning for counties Galway, Mayo and Donegal.
The warning for Galway and Mayo will come into effect at 5pm, and is valid until 9pm.
The alert for Donegal is valid from 9pm until 1am tomorrow.
